About: Ninewells Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as the patient),

I came into the acute medical unit quite late at night

I was quicky seen by Dr Scofeld and felt reassured. Overnight I didn't think much would happen but Dr Lake and Dr Ray helped me when I needed it.

I have been here before and had to wait for treatment and for procedures but this time this was done quickly and overnight! Once this was done my pain was improving. The team seem to never sleep!

Very pleased with the whole team.

Thank you so much for taking the time to deliver this feedback. It's great to hear that, whilst previous experiences in your care had taken time, the team were able to address your needs of care effectively and efficiently to make your whole experience in our unit better. This is one of the aims of our unit along with safe care & good communication.. Positive feedback is just as important to us as negative feedback as we can learn from the examples our colleagues have set and gain greater awareness of how our patients experience our unit.

I've shared your feedback with all the members of my team not just Drs Schofield, Lake & Rae, so that we can all learn from their example.
