What I liked

I had day surgery in T2 at UCH yesterday - an arthroscopy on my knee. I thought all the staff - nursing, anaesthetists and the consultant were really good. All took the time to introduce themselves, explain what was happening, when things would happen, what would happen next. Having been to other hospitals - particularly City hospital in Birmingham where you never know what is going on, or who is talking to you, or why - I thought the care at UCH on the day surgery ward was first rate.
