My 88 year old father was admitted to ward 23 via the Emergency Department over a weekend in May. From start to finish the care he received was exemplary. We were reviewed within minutes of attending the department and had been reviewed by a consultant within 90 minutes. He had been anxious about his visit to the hospital but was soon reassured by the staff who were caring and attentive. We were involved in all aspects of the decision making process and felt that my father was treated with respect. His discharge was efficient and he was given written information about his procedure and the follow up he required . I would certainly recommend Kings Mill Hospital to family and friends.
