"horrified by what the staff said"

About: Bristol Royal Infirmary

Mum is in her 90's,over a year ago the BRI told her she had weeks 2live due to cancer,.but with the constant care&judgement from myself&3sisters,she has done amazing this last year,we had made a decision not to tell mum she had cancer, which we explained to doctors and any1 from the medical profesion that would have contact with her, this was also the case on a recent visit to the hospital with mum(explaining to all staff that she is unaware she has cancer)anyway, they keep mum in overnight, and what happens,.in the morning,Dr's come round to see her and tell her she. has cancer,no one was with her as it was early in morning so she by herself.I can't begin to imagin what this has done to her,I am Livid, how thoughtless how senseless how mindless
