"My own Bowel cancer"

About: Royal United Hospital / Colorectal surgery Royal United Hospital / Oncology

(as the patient),

I would just like to say I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in March of this year and from the time of diagnosis the team that have treated me so far have been brilliant.

I had the tumour removed in March then 8 weeks later saw the oncologist with a view to have Chemotherapy. I have had the Macmillan nurses available to me at times when I needed to talk to someone, or if any of my family needed to.

I have had another CT scan and am due to see the oncologist again at the end of this month to talk about starting the chemotherapy.

I can only praise the team so far they have been amazing, so would like to say that the team at the Royal United Hospital in Bath are deserving of a mention for the good.
