After the closure of St George’s transplant unit, I was asked to attend Harefield for future check ups. The transplant clinic at Harefield is fantastic. I understand the mixed feelings of being on the heart waiting list, I was 21 when diagnosed as terminally ill, but I know that when you get your heart you will be very well looked after.
