I could probably write a book about unsatisfactory performance by staff at this hospital, although, sadly, I don't suppose it's any worse than most others in this country! However, I'll just highlight one or two instances, at the moment.

My relative was an in-patient not so long ago. She said the personal washing was no more than the most cursory of wipes with a wet cloth before the nurse rushed off to attending to somebody else, however, equally, or more, annoying was the fact that on the day of her discharge she was awoken at 05.30 and made to get dress and sit in a chair until 13.30 when she was finally taken down to the transport vehicle and then, taken all over the moon dropping off other patients before delivering her home and the journey was n't a smooth one either - an old woman in her 80s with hardly any body-strength! I hope that the management will be made to suffer these conditions when they have to go into hospital! Oh, but then they've probably got private hosp. ins., have n't they and staff would know who they were, anyway!! It's no wonder such things are allowed to happen! It's no wonder too, I contend that hospitals are run for the convenience of the staff and not the patients, at all!!
