I was referred to the SAU and the Urology team by the emergency GP on 7 March 2015. I was initially seen by two doctors who assessed that emergency exploratory surgery was required (and which took place on the 8th March). After the emergency exploratory surgery, I put on the fast track for suspected testicular cancer, and this was confirmed by subsequent blood tests and ultrasound. I had radical left orchidoctemy on 13 April at Milton Keynes hospital and that would not have happened so quickly had it not been for the quick diagnosis and response by the team at Royal Preston. A huge thank you to doctors and everyone else who saw me and worked on me at the SAU and Royal Preston, you are all stars.
"Excellant staff and service"
