As a result from having a MRI scan for the further progession of my Parkinson's, the scan showed a mass in the right kidney. This was picked up by my Dr. who followed it up and I was moved through the various systems from clinic to surgon. Very quickly.
They were very helpful and explained it very clearly to me and my wife, we also asked for a copy of the explanation and that was posted out and we found that reassuring.
Within a month I was in having the procedure performed "right renal cryo ablation treatment" in October 2014. I felt no pain after the treatment and also there was no scarring from where the needles were placed into my back and was up and about the next day. The staff were very caring on the ward too.
I wish Dr Wah and the team every success in the future and hope they can continue with this amazing treatment. I had a futher 2 MRI scans following the surgery and we are pleased to be told it was a success. A big thank you to everyone who saw us through all of this.
"Grateful for kidney tumour ablation treatment"
