After a second hip replacement I seen the consultant about my arthritis in both knees. They said in their opinion i wasn't ready yet for a knee replacement but that something wasn't right. Although the consultant explained it was not their field of expertise they thought it might have something to do with nerves in the spine. The consultant sent me immediately for an MRI scan were they found a tumour in my spine. I have since had the tumour removed at the RVI and I'm currently having radiotherapy at the freeman. Without the dedication of people in the NHS like my consultant this tumour might have been missed. So I would like thank the consultant personally for their dedication and help. Can you please forward this email to them. Thank you. Mr M A Cole
"A big thanks to my orthopaedic surgeon."
