Today (13/5/15) I went to visit my brother who was to have a facial op. Upon hearing he was moved over night from 4E to 12D, I proceeded to level 12 to enquire about his current status and when I would be able to see him. I was told by the ward sister on 12D that he would be back on the 4th floor as the surgeon was not happy with how it went and that the discovered an infection. In a panick I rushed back down to level 4 ward E and my brother could not be located, told eventually he'd be moved to 4F after theatre; this was after 14:30. Around 15:30 I spoke to my brother who told me he had been in recovery since after 1pm. I went to see him in there and was told I can't be in that area, so I left and waited till he was placed in a bed. I am writing this at 23:05pm and my brother is still in recovery. Many people who came after him was placed in a bed whilst he is still there, not only that they say they don't know where his belongings are. The site manager is rude and Doctors unavailable to speaking in regards to care. I am more than prepared to take this higher. It's disgusting the lack of communication and care. I feel this is purposely done. My brother was also given pork and he is Muslim (the nurse did correct it) but my brother had asked for chips in the beginning. This is NOT acceptable in any case.
