I would like to state that under treatment at this hospital my health improved dramatically in a short space of time considering how floridly psychotic and totally unwell I was prior to admission.All aspects of care and a variety of illnesses are dealt with fairly and with due attention.Physical health tests are also conducted when needed.Each member of staff plays a pivotal role in covering differing needs and stages of illness.All staff work exceptionally hard and great kindness is shown.I have found the psychiatrists involved in my care to be very kind and very sensitive to my own wishes regarding care and provision of treatment, right from junior doctors to senior levels.I am so lucky to receive a bed in this hospital, it is local to my region, and even if patients were/are admitted here from different regions , it is an excellent hospital to be admitted to. Staff sometimes have to be firm but I can see it is always with the patient's best interests at heart and frontline staff can put themselves at risk of injury whilst protecting other patients.
