What I liked

I would like to express my gratitude in respect of my recent admission/discharge from Northwick Park Hospital.

I have since 2000 regularly attended the Diabetes Clinic and have over this period always been extremely pleased with the professional care and treatment that I have received.

At my most recent diabetes appointment on the 05.08.09 with the doctor during the consultation he had advised that he wanted to do a blood test.

Rather than have me go through the usual channels he arranged for bloods to be taken immediately after my appointment and sent to the Lab.

Later that afternoon I received a call from the doctor advising that I needed to return to the hospital immediately and I subsequently returned and was admitted for the relevant treatment.

On admission the doctor came to the ward to explain what action was been taken and subsequently kept me up to date throughout my stay along with his colleagues.

I am extremely grateful to the doctor not only for his professionalism but for the care which he extended to me which is very much appreciated.

I also stayed in B Bay in both Dickens and James ward and I have nothing but good things to say about the excellent treatment I received.

All the staff that dealt with me were excellent and made my stay as enjoyable as could be expected.

They are definitely a credit to Northwick Park and the NHS.
