What I liked
I had a mild stroke in February this year. It affected by right leg and I had some problems with getting my words out. Within a few hours, I was transferred to the stroke unit and taken care by a very good nurse. I saw the physiotherapist almost immediately and given exercises to make my leg stronger. I saw the speech therapist who was immensely helpful in helping me to speak clearly. I was always consulted about what I wanted and was involved in planning my care at home. I also saw the physio at home to get me walking outside and using a bus. You always hear bad things about the NHS and CHase farm, but I could not have had better care. Thank you Chase Farm!!!
What could be improved
Nothing really, everyone was very professional and the ward was clean
