"getting a bed is one thing, holding onto it is..."

About: Scarborough General Hospital

I won't make this long and drawn out, basically, having had my operation cancelled 3 times I was just grateful that I actually finally got my operation! I was treated very well although after my operation I was not able to 'bounce back' very quickly, one nurse was very pushy and keen to free up my bed without regard for my condition. I know bed shortages are a problem but trying to kick you out when you are still struggling coming round from the anesthetic is ridiculous. I felt unfairly pressured. Apart from this one nurse, my experience has been positive.
