"Inefficient administrations May 2015"

Had initial assessment 20/10/14 and since I’ve had two Pre-operative Assessments and a final assessment appointment with consultant on 25/02/15 at which had to wait 45 mins, past appointment time. Towards end of March was sent a surgery date for April. I phoned immediately on receiving the letter that not only it was my birthday and we were going to be abroad that week. I was told that surgery would be rearranged near the end of April and would receive a confirmation. April went, received no communication and phoned in 11th May to be told that records show that patient didn’t turn up? I became quite irate and was told the person dealing with this would phone later in the day to clarify the situation, confirmed my mobile number to return the call. Waited whole day and to my great annoyance no one had the decency to call me. This is supposed to be private referral hospital and as such expected much better treatment. Avoid this unhelpful administrative hospital.
