There is still a staff shortage in the Rheumatology Department resulting in long wait times of up to 2 hours to be seen. It is clear the unit is still understaffed which just one consultant - a doctor and a temporary staff member. I have been a patient since 1995 and have noticed that rather than improving, the situation has got worse especially in the last 10 years.
