"Extremely inadequate!"

Absolutely disgusted at the treatment my father received during his time at this disgusting excuse of a hospital! He was over on a short holiday and fell ill, the lack of respect that was shown to him has appalled me to the highest level! Cleanliness level were below zero and the staff had no time for him! Ignored his illness and disregarded that he has had a stroke and wasn't well! He wasn't long out of hospital at home and they were so helpful and accommodating that we actually sent a letter of praise to the head office . Newham General was such a joke that he discharged himself to come home and get treatment back in Northern Ireland!! What are the staff paid for exactly if not to treat patients and have a little humanity?! I will tell anyone I know to avoid Newham General Hospital like the plague! Please don't take this complaint lightly as the more and more I think about this its making me want to go further than just a strong worded compliant . My father should be treated with respect, he isn't demanding and it has infuriated me that anyone could be treated this way. The Stafford ward should be ashamed! Apparently there was only 1 doctor in the whole hospital on bank holiday Monday? A joke!
