"My 1 year old in children's ward"

I have once had a bad experience myself at Pinderfields on ward 18 I sed I would never go bk to Pinderfields, but on Friday we went to the Go With my 1 year old daughter who sent us to Pinderfields childrens ward with an eye infection I dreaded it with my experience, but my daughters health is more important so we took her when we got there we was greeted very nicely buy quit a few staff that was very helpful by explain the situation and the ropes of the ward and all the facilities available for the children an parents I was very impressed with the ward and thought it isn't so bad we ended up staying the weekend my daughter loved it and the nurses she still had her home routine with the bath facility and the portable dvd player and free tv ceebeebies the nurses made our stay very comfortable I think the children's ward is fantastic I could have moved in hahaha, the only thing I don't agree on is parents leaving there baby's that can't fend for themselves over night on there own I think the staff has anough to deal with, without doing someone else's parenting job if the parents can't say for good reason to parent should be responsible for sorting overnight childcare if they can't afford then social services should have something in place to fund outside childcare to say with the child how anyone could leave there baby is beyond me why have children if u can't provide for there needs there should be a policy put in place it's not far on the staff hospitals are over run as it it without the extra job of someone else's xx
