(as a relative),

My husband has been very ill with a condition called gastro-paresis which basically means he vomited around 30 times per day for the last 3 years. After some major surgery and the insertion of a feeding tube he is finally doing much better. Unfortunately, the constant vomiting has taken a toll on his teeth which are now very decayed & painful. Due to some very negative dental experiences in the past and the fact that he has been so sick he can't stand the though of a dentist working in his mouth

Dear 'We Need Help',

I am sorry to hear of your husbands suffering over the past three years through ill health but delighted that he is doing well after his surgery. It is also unfortuante that his previous dental experiences have been negative.
