I would like to commend and thank the consultant who has been treating my 82 year dad. On each and every occasion, my father has been treated with dignity, respect and understanding. Even though my dad can get a little confused and his memory is poor, the consultant explains everything clearly and thoroughly, checking that dad has understood. The consultant gives dad choices and options, discussing each one and the potential outcomes. The consultant obviously views my dad as a person and not just a set of symptoms. I am totally reassured and confident that the consultant and their team are providing the highest level of care available. Thank you, it is so refreshing to meet someone working within the NHS who has retained their commitment and passion.
