"urgent care facilities"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

Today I visited the urgent care facilities you now hold fuel to worsening back pain, when I arrived there was probably about 16-20 people at most waiting, I wait an hour and a half becoming increasingly agonised by my back pain everyone that had been there when I arrived had been seen and had gone, so I decided that Id check to see how many people were in front of me before I would be seen and the response I got was that I had only waited an hour and a half so there was another 16 people in front of me. This I thought was a joke, I explained to the staff how much pain I was in and they didn't seem to care, so I left not receiving the care I needed because it was too painful to wait any llonger. I was informed to seek immediate medical help if my back pain got worse and so far I have not been able to because I can not wait for long periods of time because of the pain I am in. The service of care was poor and I wish I could receive the care I need.

Thank you, Courtney, for providing feedback about your experience of the Dudley Urgent Care Centre. Although the centre is located within Russells Hall Hospital, the service is provided by a company called Malling Health. We have passed your feedback onto them. However, if you would like to get in touch with them directly, please contact Shamim Akhtar on 0121 612 3575 or email shamimakhtar@nhs.net
