"Hip replacement"

Unfortunately my date for surgery was cancelled at 3 days notice, but when I eventually had the operation, six weeks later, everything went well. The care was excellent and my room with en-suite shower room, was large with a wonderful view from the picture window. Choice of food on the menu was extensive - my only reservation was that the size of the portions was rather too generous for a post-operative patient with diminished appetite! Nurses and physios were very encouraging.
