"Friday night A&E"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Attended A&E (7pm) following an emergency doctors appointment (6.15pm) after phoning 111 (5.30pm). Due to phone call and letter provided by doctor I didn't see triage nurse but was called in to see a doctor within 15 minutes of arriving. Had pain relief, blood tests, results and a chest X-ray and was discharged within 2 and a half hours. I now have a return appointment for ultrasound over the weekend to investigate further but serious conditions ruled out during my visit. All doctors and nurses were polite, professional and attentive. Glad and thankful to have this service available 24/7!
