"Why am I still waiting for an appointment"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I was referred to the Dermatology Department by my GP back in October 2014. I finally received an appointment through for the 9th February 2015 to see the Community Outpatients Dermatology Service to which I visited a GP Surgery in Sevenoaks, I was seen by a member of the team and said i would hear within a short period (approx two weeks) what the Consultant's decision was on my treatment. On 25th February 2015 I received a copy letter stating that I was being referred to the Hospital. I have contacted the hospital on 2nd, 7th and again on 14th April to be told by the Patient Service Centre that there is nothing more they can do, I will have to wait! they have emailed the person concerned and the manager but that is all they can do, they don't know when i will get an appointment. In total so far I have waited 30 weeks without any treatment is this acceptable???? I don't think so.
