"New hospital same appalling receptionist"

About: Altrincham General Hospital

The physio care i have received at the hospital is excellent. However the physio receptionist is downright rude. Speaking to people like they are idiots/children. Barking orders about how to queue. Do bear in mind that the clinics open before the receptionists start work. And therefore it always feels like you are an inconvenience when you are in the reception area Never ever a moment of common courtesy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Altrincham General Hospital

We would like to apologise for your recent experience when attending the physiotherapy department and appreciate that the start of your journey with us begins at reception, where you should be made to feel welcome and treated with respect and courtesy. We are currently settling into a new environment with new systems and different ways of working which has caused some initial teething problems; however the Team Leader will be speaking to all our reception staff with regards to this matter and customer service, and will be looking into the provision of customer service training to be completed by the end July 2015.

If you would like to discuss this with us in more detail, please feel free to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 975 4753 or by e-mailing Trafford.pals@nhs.net
