"Cleanness in waiting area"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

The visit to this hospital was due to my girlfriend having stomach pains during her pregnancy. The wait wasn't long at all to be seen however the state of the waiting area in cornflower B was discusting. The was crisps and rappers all over the floor as well as cups, bottles, used baby wipes and left over food just squashed onto the chairs and floor. There was spilt drinks and the floor was sticky. For an area that is supposed to be all about cleanliness this was an utter disgrace.

Thank you for your comment. I’m pleased to hear that you and your girlfriend didn’t have to wait for long to be seen, however I am very disappointed that cleanliness of the waiting area was not up to standard. I will pass your feedback onto the team who will be able to undertake spot checks in this area and address the cleaning problem. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
