After a routine mammogram in December 2015 I was found to have needed breast surgery, which turned out to have to be done on 2 separate occasions and operations being in March and then April. During my appointments to which I had many all I can do is praise all the wonderful staff right from the receptionists, to all the nurses, the staff that carried out my ultra sounds, the amazing Breast Care Nurses that really live up to there name and my great consultant/surgeon who did everything necessary to make me better. Many many people pass through their doors but I was made to feel that I was a complete individual, no time that they spent with me was too long, if I needed to talk I could talk. Everything was explained to me in the best possible way and right from the start I was put at ease and made sure that I understood everything that was being explained to me. During my stay in hospital which was on a surgical ward the first time for 2 nights and the short stay ward the second time which was for 1 night. On each stay I received the best care and attention from all the nurses. On my return to my breast care nurse and consultant I had my next st e p fully explained to me and was totally made aware that they were there if I needed to talk at any time before my next appointment in a year's time. I feel really strongly that I know that I have received the best care, attention and treatment that I could have ever asked for, and to which I am true my grateful. Thank you so very much.
