Until his very sad death in Nov 14, my father was looked after by Mr Ahmed and Dr Hartley and their teams. The care and respect that my father received was wonderful and will stay with me and bring me comfort for years to come.
Nothing was too much trouble, every question was answered with sensitivity (difficult as both my parents had failing hearing) an appointment was made when ever he needed one. We really felt complete trust in the team. They treated my parents as you would your own family.
The two CNSs were such a comfort and were always at hand with help a smile and a laugh and even the girl on reception was so lovely. As dad got more frail she would call to him to sit down that she had already checked him.
You should be really proud of your dept. Your ENT cancer care is out of this world and I really cant thank you enough. Please pass on my thanks to the ent outpatient staff.
