I went to the Woman's health department today and whilst I was waiting a little while i really don't mind. The specialist I saw clearly had read my notes before i arrived and was very reassuring. I am continuing treatment but after 10 years I finally feel like somebody is listening to me! However i am less than impressed with the lack of car parking at DCH. I have had to go here over the years for myself and to visit sick relatives. It really makes me angry that we have to pay a small fortune if we are lucky enough to get a space. I know that the last thing on my mind when visiting my sick granddad was whether I had enough change. Today however the fact I drove round all the car parks twice only to then have to park at a car park half a mile away was really infuriating. Yes I can walk but a hospital should not be forcing people to pay elsewhere when they are more stressed about being ill or having an ill family member. This issue is not a new one and I really hope that you start investing the money you e from the lucky few parkers into making more space or better transport services for the rest of us.
"Great staff- shame about the car park"
