"Gynaecology assessment unit"

About: Trafford Walk in Centre

Last month I was referred to the unit via the GP Walk in centre. I was seen very quickly. The clinic and staff helped create a calming environment and made me feel very reassured as such a traumatic time. The care and emotional support I received from the doctor and specialist nurse was next to nothing. Appropriate referrals were made and useful advice was given. I felt I had been treated with such care and dignity and for that I really thank you.

Thank you for your comments posted on the NHS Choices and Patient Opinion websites regarding your care in the GP Walk in centre at Trafford General Hospital.

It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was encouraging to hear that you felt reassured and cared for with dignity and consideration.

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Pam Kilcoyne, Lead Nurse for Gynaecology and the staff involved.
