"Leverhulme Day Surgery"

About: Clatterbridge Hospital

I am 40 years old and went in to have a cortisone injection in my hip. My appointment was at 7.45am and I was back home well before lunchtime. I cannot thank the staff enough. From the second I stepped foot in the hospital they were so helpful, so nice, caring, friendly and funny. They kept me laughing through most of my stay, which was such a help as I am so fearful of needles, they kept my mind off the whole thing. I can't thank them enough for being the loveliest bunch of nurses I've ever come across. Even the tea they made me was lovely. Thanks for keeping my mind off things and for taking such good care of me. x

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are extremely grateful that you have taken the time to provide this feedback. Our staff work hard to try to ensure that a patient’s experience whilst at the hospital is as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and they are always considerably heartened and motivated on learning how much their efforts have been appreciated. We have passed your kind sentiments to staff in our Orthopaedics Department. If we can be of further assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 432 0251, email wih-tr.pals@nhs.net or in writing to PALS, Arrowe Park Hospital, Arrowe Park Road, Upton, Wirral, CH49 5PE.
