"son's ankle"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

My son took a tumble on the trampoline at the weekend and was in agony. Rung Otley MIU to see if it would be ok to attend as live in Pudsey, didn't want the 6 hour wait at LGI. Arrived and was seen within 30 mins, x-rayed and diagnosed with possible fracture, hence son now in pot. Was given clear information as what would happen in future. Staff very kind, especially the radiographer who did the X ray, they were lovely and so kind. A credit to the NHS. Wish all hospitals were like this.

Dear Costello Bunch,

Thank you for taking the time to post such positive comments.

I have shared your comments with the Local Care Direct who manage the minor injuries unit and have asked that they share this with their staff members so that they too can know of the good work they are doing.

With kind regards

Rosie Horsman

Senior Nurse

Patient Experience.
