My mother was transfered for palliative care from the Freeman to Rothbury community hospital and her last few days were made easier by the wonderful staff. The view from her room over the river and the village helped her relax as she knew she had come home. Nothing was a bother and we were helped with all our questions. My father was offered lunch on more than one occasion. When my mother passed away the nurses were amazing with tea and homemade cakes appearing from nowhere and the advice given as to what would happen next was fabulous. A very big thank you from me and all the family of Anne.
