"pediatric care not none existant"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

We visited Pembury hospital with our 11 month son as he had been vomiting for 36 hrs with a bad tummy. we were told we could not see a paediatric doctor as they finish at Midnight and would have to wait 5 hrs to be seen by a normal doctor. and we would have to wait with all the other very sick children or drunks. Totally unacceptable I will avoid every taking my son there again

We're very sorry that your experience of the Emergency Department fell below the expected standards on the occasion described above.

Please be assured that significant work was ongoing at the time of your visit and a dedicated paediatric emergency service was opened at the end of May 2016.

We hope that you would have a better experience, should you need to attend the hospital again in the future.

With kind regards, The PALS Team.
