I'm really shocked at the way Hillingdon Hospital A&E has changed. Before it was absolute chaos and I have to say, my most recent visit I was dreading because of the past visits I've made. But I was completely surprised, no longer than 10 minutes after I had checked in, a triage nurse was seeing me and taking my observations. Again, no longer than 10 minutes after this lovely triage nurse had seen me, I was transferred to the A&E section where a really lovely doctor and nurse asked me what my symptoms were etc. I honestly received a 5* treatment. In just one hour, I checked in, was seen by a triage nurse, transferred to A&E, was treated and prescribed my medication. One thing I have got to say, there is one doctor there who is so wise and lovely (the doctor was there at 5.30pm on Tuesday 21st April, don't know if you can find them that way!) I have forgotten their name, but the way this doctor treated me with such kindness and sympathy did not go unnoticed and we need more of those caring, humble people working for the NHS.
"Quick, thorough and efficient"
