Felt the need to share my extremely positive experience of carlisle hospital, checked in at ENT at 7.30am, staff were really polite, punctual and outgoing! I went for the op at 10.30 on the dot as told upon arrival, everyone from the anethatist to the surgeon and the aftercare recovery team were fab, did they're best to make me comfortable and relaxed as the team knew how nervous I was about the op! After I spent a few hours in recovery I was taken to Beech Ward D, I've always heard nothing but bad reviews on this ward but i can't understand why! I was in my own private room with ensuite, the staff are kind and Were really going out of their way to ensure I was happy and comfortable, fed and watered! This ward and the staff working it are a credit to the CIC! Felt the need to post this as you always hear the negativity on this hospital and never any positive! I for one am more than satisfied with the level of care I have recieved here and would gladly return here in the future! (Only if necessary of course)
