"Where are the drugs?"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

My mother is on the point of being discharged from HRI. It is 7pm on Wednesday 29th April. She was told on the morning of Tuesday 28th April that she could go home. The reason she waited such a terrible long time was that her drugs took so long to get ready. This is really unacceptable! I do know this is quite common. Obviously there is a big problem with the pharmacy service. Why are the managers not saying something about this, to get resources to sort this out? This is blocking beds and taking up car parking, making the whole system inefficient and hopeless. What a ridiculous waste of everyone's time. Please look at this and see what can be done.
