"More than pleased"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

Last Saturday night I had a fall at home, the ambulance men decided that I should go to A&E, high BP, low heart rate? possible stroke ! The treatment was very very good,I was then taken to MAU. all female ward again treatment and kindness very good. One small complaint, although it was not at the time was shortage of pillows. I am 76yrs. and need at least two pillows because of a neck problem. One of the Sisters was spoon feeding a lady who was not able to do so her self. Billions£ spent on Overseas aid but the Dept of Health cannot supply extra pillows.

Thank you taking the time to post your comments on your recent stay in hospital. I am pleased that your care was good and that your experience with us was a positive one. I am sorry that we fell down in having too few pillows available on the day and I will pass your comments onto Hotel Services so that they can review whether we currently have sufficient pillows in circulation. I hope that you have now recovered from your fall. Claire Roberts Associate Director of Patient Experience Tel: 01553 613459 or email: claire.roberts@qehkl.nhs.uk
