I've been a patient with the same general practice in Tillicoultry for over 20 years. I have a very good relationship with my GP. I trust my GP completely completely, great listener and seems to always ask the right questions.
I went along the other day for an appointment with practice nurse. I don't see the nurse often but was appreciative of the approach, checking that we had met before, that I knew who they were and questioning was thoughtful. We discussed some suggestions the practice nurse put to me -the practice nurse also suggested that I do my own research, on the internet and so on. The nurse displayed complete respect of my ability to make decisions about my own health and acted as someone who could support that process.
It was really easy to talk to the nurse, just one person to another. None of the faint preaching or lecturing I've come across in the past at times.
I feel fortunate to be a patient in this practice.
"Great general practice"
