My wife was a patient in Kingsley Ward in Millbrook and it was decided to let her have Christmas at home but in December she fell downstairs and fracture both ankles, which meant 6 weeks plaster casts and a further 6 weeks in “training boots”.
Since then, when the boots were taken off she has received help to wash, get up in the morning and generally making sure she had learnt to walk ‘safely’ again. She has surprised me, and family, and carers at how quickly she has coped and is now well on the way to complete recovery. Confidence is down but I’m sure this will improve.
Only the care + attention she has received from her carers and family has helped to achieve this + we are eternally grateful.
Thank you
"We are eternally grateful"
