What could be improved

Well where do I start, EVERYTHING! Lack of same staff attending patient, yes I realise staff have days off but try a bit of continuity in care . Communication - got so many apologies about miss information, apologies dont help - words cant get taken back!, Reading the notes of patient would help from the beginning and someone taking responsibility for what is going on. You have a uniform on take responsibility for that! So scared of being sued that you never get a straight answer, yes nature/life is unpredictable but surely all those years of training have given a bit of an insight into what may happen. Would just advise not to sue as Medway needs all the money it can get to improve for future patients. Finally and most importantly that BED No 8, for example, is housed by a person,a real living person, a person who has a name and a background and a family that love them so much that they want the best care possible. We have to trust our loved one to be looked after and cared for by the staff in this hospital and this in itself can be greatly improved on!!!!

Anything else?

This of course in my view and it is still ongoing but I am just hoping and praying that nobody I love or care about ever has to go to this place again.
