"I will always be truly grateful to the ladies"

About: Bridge Children's Centre

(as a volunteer/advocate),

I had recently moved to the area and didn't know anyone. Both my children were at secondary school so I found it harder to make friends as I had no opportunities such as school playground, swimming lessons etc.

I nervously decided to volunteer at Bridge which was the best decision I could of made. I had previously suffered a little breakdown due to mistreated post natal depression when I lived away and if it wasn't for the staff at Bridge I think I would have gone down hill again.

They were absolutely brilliant, very welcoming, accommodating, patient, they made me feel at ease from day one, never pushed me or made me do anything I didn't feel comfortable with but at the same time they nurtured me and gave me back my confidence. They also helped me find employment. I will always be truly grateful to the ladies there, they are a fantastic supportive team xx

Thank you so much for your positive feedback

It is always good to know we have helped make a difference however large or small and even more rewarding to see how people have moved onward and upward since their experiences at the centre.
