"After being sent into a doctor ..."

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

After being sent into a doctor i wasnt even meant to be seeing i then had over a 2 hour wait beyond my appointment time, even waiting beyond a member of hospital staff who wished to discuss some "paper work" with the consultant. My appointment, with the Doctor ,was quite encouraging with the time expectations of my treatment ad follow up being not too lengthy . how ever a month later after chasing up my surgery dates i was told i would have to wait a considerably lot longer (some 4 months ) despite a letter to the contrary being read out to me by a member of staff.I had been offered a chance of surgery within a week of seeing the Doctor which i accepted only then to be told i couldnt have it as the Doctor wanted to do the procedure himself , i have now been informed that another doctor (who i had previousily seen and des not enspire alot of faith) may be doing the procedure , so why was i not told this before and allowed the earlier dates for surgery.
