What I liked
The fact that the hospital is very clear about how to keeps the place clean, but if you visiting someone, then that all changes
What could be improved
Communication between members of staff!! And when the nurse says something or promises something they should stick to it and forfill that role
Anything else?
I have been visiting my Nan for the past week and a half, she went in for a knee replacement, which should of be simple, has now sort of turned into a nightmare. She was on Spencer Wing, then moved to Sandwich Bay Ward, which since then it has been all down hill from there, her dressing for her op wasn't changed for a week, she has not been bathed or washed for a week and till this day still no bath or shower, she had an accident with her cathatar that came out, blood everywhere, but no one made attempt to clean her up for at least 45 minutes, when then my Aunt had to grab someone to clean her. Still no shower or bath! Yes fair enough its a big ward, but its the little things that have not been done. The fact that my Nan is still in that ward now really scares me, and I fear for her. I really hope that someone will take my comments on board.
