"Thank you"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I have just returned from an operation performed under local anaesthetic to repair a hand injury. From the moment I walked into the TAA, right through to discharge, I have been treated with care and respect. The theatre team and plastic surgeons in particular were fantastic. They were all attentive, good humoured and kept me informed at all times as to what was happening. The treatment was completely pain free and I was handled gently and with respect. This could have been a very scary experience, but I have come away feeling completely at ease and happy that I was in the hands of such professional and caring people. A big thank you to everyone involved.
