I am often saddened by the way the media appear to delight in finding fault with the running of Colchester Hospital. I have recently undergone cataract eye surgery in the eye department and the standard of care and treatment I received was exemplary. My thanks to all the staff involved and I am sure the vast majority of patients enjoy a similar experience to mine.
