Having eventually decided to undergo hip replacement surgery, I have to say that I feel so very fortunate to have been recommended, and then referred to the doctor at Goring Hall. My GP had first hand experience of the doctor's professionalism and expertise as they were a former patient. So, after some research and an initial consultation I decided they were the right choice for me. I couldn't be more happy with the care and treatment I received from the doctor and their whole team at Goring Hall. All the staff were friendly, caring and efficient and I would especially like to mention the nurse and the anaesthetist, for their expert care and professionalism, given in such a caring, gentle manner. Following the surgery, I was out of bed the same day - walking the short distance to the bathroom with the aid of a walking frame. The next day I was walking a little further and managed to go up and down stairs with the aid of 2 walking sticks; and then from strength to strength until I found myself walking , unaided,(but accompanied by my husband and exuberant, young Irish Setter) on our beautiful Downs, in the glorious sunshine, on day 11 post-op. It felt amazing!!! Now, life without pain, painkillers and disturbed nights is wonderful and I am extremely grateful to the doctor, whose expert skill and dedication, administered in such a positive, up-beat manner, has enabled me to regain a quality of life that I had forgotten. We are so lucky to have this level of surgical, medical and nursing care locally. Simply The Best! With my sincere thanks, best wishes and Kindest regards, Mary Fox P.S.
