"I gave birth to my first child ..."

What I liked

I gave birth to my first child here and cannot recommend the antenatal and delivery care here enough. The consultant, registrars, doctors, midwives and nurses were second to none. I was extremely nervous and was put at ease throughout my pregnancy and birth by understanding, knowlegable, friendly staff - I cant recommend them highly enough. I stayed in a private room following the birth and would happily have stayed for a week!

What could be improved

Perhaps a bit more proactive assitance from the midwives once in the room/ward following the birth (although it was there if you asked for it).
