"Rude and obnoxious nursing staff on BlueBell B..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I arrived at Bluebell B Ward as I needed help finding a family relative I was the told of the ward my relative was transferred to however, my first time at the hospital and the nurse who I spoke to was very unhelpful and said they were too busy to direct me to the ward. No care or sympathy that is my experience the nurse could see I was distressed. What kind of Nurses do you have working for NHS?

I am very sorry that the nurse you spoke to could not find the time to direct you to the ward. This is not acceptable. Our hospitals are very large and, even though we do have clear signage, sometimes all that is needed is a point in the right direction. Your comment will be discussed with the Ward Manager of Bluebell B. You are welcome to contact me through our PALS team with more information on 01708 435 454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
